Mind Pad file commands allow to create, open and save project.
Also, you can create your project using template.

New. Create a new project. If you have some project opened
then Mind Pad will ask for confirmation, if you want to save the
project before creating new.

New from template... - Create a new project basing
template. Mind Pad is distributed with some custom templates, you
can create your own templates using "Save as template"
option in this menu;

Open. Open project file. The extension of project file
is .mprj. Note: the default folder for all projects you save and
open is My Documents\MindPad Projects.

Reopen. Find recently opened Mind Pad projects to reopen
them.

Save and Save as... These commands save your project.
Note: the default folder for all projects you save and open is My
Documents\MindPad Projects.

Note: if you used your own models created in Model editor then
when distributing your project you should also think about
distributing files from Models directory.

Save as template. This command saves your current
project as a template (.mpt) file. Template file includes all
information about your styles and objects. Note: you can save
template with name default.mpt, then Mind Pad will use this
template by default, when creating new project using
"New" command.

Export. Workspace image to file. Mind Pad will
save your workspace (all objects and links) as an image file.
Printing options of Mind Pad allows to print workspace:

Print preview... Learn how the printed document will
looks like.

Page setup... Setup your page settings. Note: there is
some non-printable area for your specific printer, so don't use 0
for margins. The recommended value is 4-8. Also, there is
"Fit to page" option, so you can select to print a map
on a single page.

Print. Prints mind map.

Project options. Use this command to change information
about project and some color settings;
