Mind Pad workspace commands in Workspace menu allow to select the type of object to place at workspace, change topics layout;

• Select. Change cursor to object selection mode;
• Object. Change cursor to frame placing mode. Clicking on workspace when cursor is in Object mode, you'll have a frame placed on workspace.
• Add link. Linkage mode. Use this command and then select source and destination frames;

Commands to support map layout:

• Layout focused tree. Allows to layout the focused pad of map (focused tree);
• Layout focused branch. Allows to layout the focused branch of map. 
• Reorder children. Use this command to re-arrange children frames.   

Note: see "FrameAutoLayout" option in Mind Pad preferences (menu Tools -> Preferences), if checked Mind Pad will manage frames position automatically;
