The Enterprise Workflow National Project was created to help managers understand the benefits that implementing workflow could bring within their organisation.

Also Project describes the essential components for building workflow that is successful and effective.

First of all, the organisation may need to bring in new skills, especially around the process mapping and re-engineering activities.

Next moment is process mapping.
The time and effort required to process map the 'as is' and 'to be' processes is often underestimated.
People think that the 'as is' is an unnecessary step, but experience has shown it is required to get the users on board and to ensure they fully understand the way the business currently operates.
