From time to time, people have pointed the way to other tools that they've found useful either in conjunction with mind mapping tools or, in some instances, to complement what these tools do.
KeyNote is a virtual tabbed notebook for organizing information. It has a tree structure that is highly useful. It could be used to augment the notes function on mind map software.
In general, it also could be useful in working with any structured of free-form information, especially the kind of information which lends itself to hierarchical representation, such as lists or outlines. KeyNote's powerful search facility quickly locates information you're looking for.
